Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Producing Field Sales Manager to lead and participate in a high-intensity 20 business day fiber internet sales blitz in Sanford, NC. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for an experienced sales professional who can both manage a team and personally generate sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives during the 20-day campaign
- Personally generate sales through direct customer interactions and door-to-door canvassing
- Conduct optional daily team meetings and performance reviews
- Provide real-time coaching and training to sales agents in the field
- Monitor team performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all sales processes and customer service standards
- Coordinate with corporate team for leads, materials, and administrative support
- Maintain accurate records of team performance and individual sales activities in company CRM
- Position may lead to permanent employment opportunities including B2B Field Sales Manager roles
Compensation Structure
- Base commission: $200 per completed sale
- Management override: $50 per team member sale
- Performance bonuses for exceeding team targets
- Weekly pay available
- Potential earnings: $10,000–$25,000+ for the 20-day period
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years field sales management experience (telecom or door-to-door preferred)
- At least 1 year of telecommunications experience required
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Smartphone with data plan for CRM and communication
- Must pass a background check
- Fiber/internet sales experience a plus
Work Schedule
- 20 business days (including Saturdays)
- Recommended selling hours: Monday–Saturday, 11 AM – 8 PM
- Sundays off
- Optional daily team meetings at 10:30 AM
